How continents come together!

Today we had a lab about how continents come together. We had to get water in a bucket, a small cup with hot water with plastic over it and modeling clay to hold the cup under water. Then we would put little pieces of paper to represent the land and the continents.

Hypothesis: I think that the "land" is going to go to the hot water because the cold water is high pressure and hot is low pressure, because the high pressure is going to push it to the low pressure.

The "land" did what I thank it was going to do and it went to the low pressure. I also put food coloring in the hot water to see how it flows after I make a hole. And I also noticed that continents crash and sink and if you make a big hole at once, the continents will be sucked down.
