Russians scientists found a very unusual thing. The scientists of Russia have found a 30,000 year old flower preserved by the ice and perma-frost of the Siberian region. The Sylene Stenophylla is one of the oldest plants recorded and found. The study suggests that these flowers can lead to the regeneration of the Mammoth and old squirrel tissue might be found too. One of the amazing things is that a flower can survive for so long, this points tot the conservation methods and hope to finding maybe mammoth tissue.
Hi Matteo,
ReplyDeleteAlex wrote about this article as well. As I have understood it, they found the seeds of this flower under the permafrost in Russia? They were able to regrow it and now they are freezing or storing other flowers seeds in case of preventing extinction. You are missing quite a few details here and it is kind of hard to see the point you are trying to make in your conclusion sentence for why this would be a conservation method. Please be sure you are including the most important details of the article. Very interesting though and thanks for including an image. What about the link to the article?
