Science Essay (Is It worth the cost?)

1. So is it worth it? Spending all that money for human curiosity than spending it on organizations to feed the starving population? The NASA organization doesn't just waste their money. They have many expenses like rocket fuel, media, employee wages, hazardous preservation, electricity(cooling), Other country costs parts of rockets, electronics, constant maintenance and others. Also there is a black budget which is not counted for projects that are secret. So is it worth it? Maybe, in my eyes they should just make one probe that is made cheaply but with little maintenance so it can be out there for decades so it can save the government money. Discovery is important but the problems on earth also need to be spent on. 2. Today we have 3 kinds of exploration methods; Man-to-space which is like the Apollo 11 mission going to the moon, Probes (My Fav) sending picture taking satellites into the fabric of space and telescopes. I don't have any ideas of new ways but I do know what they can do to explore more. They should use these 3 methods to their power. Maybe they could find a target to explore with a telescope and after the target is set, take a few years exploring it and if it is worth it THEN send people then. Today we have limitations with funds and technology. We don't have good enough tech to travel farther because it will take too long and testing new tech is a fortune that can fail. governments are not yet ready to make those risks! 3. As I said, the money that is net for exploration can fail hence the discovery and other shuttles, governments would rather focus on economy and people, as it would change little by little but tech might need to be scrapped even though all the money is waisted. The other drawbacks are hazards and disasters. If the tech is holding a substance that an kill if it crashes then there would be a big problem and death tolls slashing their future budget. 4. I think exploration should be the bottom of the list, only money that can be spent is when the others like education, medics are covered THEN spend on discoveries.
