Discovery, Next World
Scientists everyday think of ideas to make our lives easier. And one of them is travel, scientists want to figure out how to free the congestion in the world and decrease the pollution it gives off. There ideas might vary to practical and absurd, one practical one is all the cars come together and make a train above the high-way but the absurd idea is the 42 minutes and 12 second to anywhere on earth. The idea seems easy but is one of the most challenging things we will ever do if completed. The idea is that if you cut through the center or just miss the center in an angle earth's gravity will speed you up and slow you down in exactly 42 minutes and 12 seconds!!! You feel like eating Sushi but you are in England? Never-mind just take a train. Now this thing seems pretty straight forward on paper but in reality it is highly impossible to do. One of the problems is that you have to build a tunnel throughout the earth which im sure wont take 42 minutes and 12 seconds! The tunnel must be strong enough to sustain pressures and metal meting heat. Second the tube must have no air so you can get up to speed, that is 29000km an hour. If there is air you would only be able to lets say 100 km, better to take a plane. The problem is that air in tight spaces make are resistance when it is in high pressure so it would be very slow.
This now is the fiction of the world a a dream to the many business people out there and people that want to eat good food in the original country of the food.
The shipping would be in a day or so making it easier for people to get something
not available in their country.
Very cool idea! This does sound like it would work, but they would need to build major tunnels through the Earth. This would be very difficult to do through the oceans. ;) See past comments about format of the current event.
